Ordering procedure (as well as unloading deadline and cleaned wagon)
Rules for ordering:
The consignor must order transport from Green Cargo Customer Service no later than 9.00 the day before the day the sender wishes the loading to begin. The Customer Agreement states any deviations from these times.
Green Cargo will notify as soon as possible if Green Cargo does not undertake the transport or if wagons of the type ordered cannot be made available to the consignor.
Order confirmation is sent to the customer of the shipment no later than 1 hour after placing the order - unless otherwise stated. It states, among other things, when the wagon must be loaded at the latest, when the consignment note must be received by Green Cargo at the latest and estimated arrival at the recipient.
Current rules and fees for cancellation or change of transport order are published in "Appendix 2a".
The sender has a loading deadline of 8 hours - weekdays between kl. 7 and 17, calculated from the time the wagon was made available to him. The loading is counted as completed when the goods have been loaded and Green Cargo has received a complete transport document.
The recipient has an unloading or collection deadline of 8 hours weekdays between 7 and 17 from the time the tracked wagon is made available to him. See more in Appendix 2a.
When a Green Cargo wagon has been unloaded, the customer must without delay arrange an unloading notification to Green Cargo according to a form and from time to time issued guidelines from Customer Service.
Green Cargo is responsible for ensuring that the wagons and load accessories designated by Green Cargo are in technically good condition and that the wagons are normally cleaned. If the special nature of the goods requires further cleaning, the cost of this shall be charged to the sender.
After unloading, the receiver is responsible for cleaning the wagon and for restoring it to its original condition.
Definition of normally cleaned wagon: When all material in the wagon is less than the size of a liter, the wagon is counted as normally cleaned.
Electricity and diesel
Track fees are applied for operations where access is not granted by the State or by the Customer. Green Cargo has the right to charge the Customer for harbour, track or terminal charges or similar costs that Green Cargo incurrs when operating on the Customer´s behalf on municipal or private tracks. As of October 4 2010, the track fees are added to the order. On the invoice the track fees will be presented as a separate line under the heading Additional. The above procedure applies only to domestic customer agreements. For international customer agreement the existing routines apply where surcharges are in the price annex.
DMT – fuel surcharge
Fuel surcharges are usually added to truck transports with Green Cargo. The supplement is adjusted monthly on the basis of Statistics Sweden.
"Local" refers to transports of less than 100 km, while "long distance" refers to transports which are longer than 100 km.
Dangerous goods surcharges
When dangerous goods are transported Green Cargo has the right to debit an administrative fee in the form of a dangerous goods surcharge. As of October 4 2010, the dangerous goods surcharge is added to the order. On the invoice the surcharge will be presented as a separate line under the heading Additional. The above procedure applies only to domestic customer agreements. For international customer agreement the existing routines apply where surcharges are in the price annex.
