Confirmed Strike by the German Locomotive Drivers' Union

The German Locomotive Drivers' Union (GDL) has called on its members to go on strike within the freight transport sector, starting from January 9, 2024, at 18:00 until Friday, January 12, 2024, at 18:00. This will have an impact on DB Cargo AG's network and parts of Green Cargo's international traffic.

The strike will affect Green Cargo's international transports, and we have taken measures by implementing a dispatch ban for export volumes via Malmö.

We invoke Force Majeure for all traffic affected by the strike announced by the German Locomotive Drivers' Union GDL, starting at 18:00 on January 9, 2024.

Green Cargo is closely monitoring the ongoing situation and maintaining close contact with DB Cargo AG, who will provide us with ongoing information about specific effects on our railway transports.
